The late Rev. Dr. Willie Albert Gettis was the founder and CEO of English Book and Gift Store Ministry and supplied the community with Christian Resources for many years.

Under the administration of the late Dr. James Clifton Taylor, Jr. the St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church voted to purchase the English Book & Gift Store on January 12, 2015. On May1, 2018 Rev. Leon Bell, Jr. was selected as Pastor of St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church. English Book & Gift ~ SJMBC is under the leadership of Pastor Leon Bell, Jr. ~ Chief Administrator of the St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church 661 South Broad Street Mobile, AL 36603.
